What is the difference between the TSC TE200 and XPrinter XP-365B?

The TSC TE200 supports both direct thermal and thermal transfer printing, making it more versatile for printing on non-thermal surfaces like polyester labels. It also has a wider 108mm print width. The XP-365B is direct thermal only and supports up to 80mm — suitable for standard price tags and barcode labels at a lower price.

Does the TSC TE200 need a ribbon?

For thermal transfer mode, yes — a wax or resin ribbon is required. For direct thermal mode, no ribbon is needed. Switch between modes based on your label durability requirements.
