What We Like
Fast setup. Connect via USB, install the driver, and you’re printing within 5 minutes. With Invenova’s Print Agent, you don’t even need to install drivers manually — the agent handles everything.
Reliable printing. We’ve deployed hundreds of these across Sri Lankan shops. They handle daily printing without jamming or fading, as long as you use decent quality thermal labels.
Bluetooth option. The Bluetooth connectivity means you can print from a laptop or phone without running a USB cable to the printer. Useful for shops where the billing counter and label station are in different spots.
Compact size. At just 1.2kg and roughly the size of a tissue box, it fits on any counter without taking up workspace.
Good label width range. 20–80mm covers everything from tiny price tags to standard product labels. Most Sri Lankan retail labels are 30x20mm or 50x30mm — both work perfectly.
What Could Be Better
No Ethernet port. If you want to share this printer across a network, you’ll need the Rongta RP400H instead (which has Ethernet). The XP-365B is a single-workstation printer.
203 DPI resolution. For most barcode labels, 203 DPI is fine. If you’re printing very small text (like medicine details on pharmacy labels), consider a higher-DPI model.
Plastic build. The housing is plastic, not metal. For a shop counter, this is fine. For a warehouse where it might get knocked around, consider the Rongta RP400H.
Print Quality
At 203 DPI, the XP-365B produces clean, scannable barcodes that work with every scanner we’ve tested. EAN-13 codes, Code 128, and QR codes all print clearly.
Text at 8pt and above is crisp and readable. Below 8pt, you’ll start seeing softness — switch to the 300 DPI models if tiny text matters.
Who Should Buy the XP-365B?
Yes, buy it if you:
- Run a retail shop, pharmacy, or small supermarket
- Print 50–200 labels per day
- Want reliable, hassle-free barcode printing
- Need Bluetooth connectivity
- Budget is around Rs. 20,000–30,000
Consider something else if you:
- Print over 200 labels daily → Rongta RP400H
- Want a portable printer for market stalls → Niimbot B1
- Need network sharing across multiple computers → Rongta RP400H (has Ethernet port)
The Verdict
The Xprinter XP-365B is the right printer for the vast majority of Sri Lankan retail businesses. At Rs. 24,500, it offers the best balance of speed, quality, and value in its price range. It’s the printer we recommend first, and for good reason — it just works.
